“I recently dined at the Hawthorn Room, the main dining space of Fairmont Palliser. The atmosphere is modern with an extensive bar, and while I had anticipated an exquisite feast, the experience was a bit underwhelming. We were offered a lovely drink called 'Homegrown' that I found really good. However, I was disappointed to learn they didn't have the snow crab I'd been looking forward to, and instead, we had to make a quick decision to head elsewhere for dinner. The history and architecture of the hotel were still magical, but I hoped for more from the dining experience.” view full review

My stay at Fairmont Palliser was a mixed bag. I really loved the room's comfort and the prime location downtown, but I was let down by some aspects of the service and dining. Overall, it was decent, though not flawless.
